Tell us a few details about your current vehicle and the car you are interested in purchasing.

To provide an initial valuation, we will normally need:

  • Vehicle registration
  • Current mileage
  • Make, model and specification
  • MOT and service history

What We Accept

Vehicles We Consider

We welcome part exchange enquiries for a wide range of vehicles, including:

Any Make or Model

We consider cars, SUVs, 4x4s and light commercial vehicles from most manufacturers.

High-Mileage and Older Vehicles

A vehicle does not need to be new or low mileage for us to consider it.

Vehicles With or Without an MOT

An expired or short MOT does not automatically prevent us from providing a valuation.

Vehicles With Outstanding Finance

Where your vehicle has finance outstanding, we can obtain or review the settlement figure and arrange for the existing agreement to be settled as part of the transaction.

Vehicles Requiring Repairs

We may consider vehicles with mechanical faults, cosmetic damage, warning lights or other repair requirements.

Accident-Damaged or Previously Repaired Vehicles

Please disclose any known accident history or insurance classification so that we can provide an accurate valuation.

Non-Runners

Non-running vehicles may also be considered, depending on their condition, location and collection requirements.

How Part Exchange Works

1

Tell Us About Your Vehicle

Provide the registration, mileage, condition and any relevant history.

2

Receive an Initial Estimate

We will assess the available information and provide an indicative valuation.

3

Vehicle Inspection

We inspect the vehicle to confirm its condition, specification, mileage and documentation.

4

Agree the Final Value

Once the inspection is complete, we will confirm the final part exchange allowance.

5

Put the Value Towards Your Next Car

The agreed value can be used towards your deposit or deducted from the price of your next vehicle.

Where finance is outstanding, the settlement amount will normally be deducted before any remaining equity is applied to the new purchase.

Part Exchange With Outstanding Finance

You may still be able to part exchange your vehicle even when it is subject to an existing finance agreement.

There are two common situations:

Positive Equity

Your vehicle is worth more than the outstanding settlement figure. The existing finance can be settled, and the remaining value may be used towards your next vehicle.

Negative Equity

Your vehicle is worth less than the outstanding settlement figure. Depending on your circumstances and the lender’s criteria, you may need to pay the difference. In some cases, a lender may consider including part of the difference within a new finance agreement, subject to affordability, status and approval.

We will explain the figures clearly before you decide whether to proceed.
